Michael Fasano is an experienced attorney who has represented clients in a wide variety of matters from local business disputes to cases that have been covered by the national news media, including the Wall Street Journal and the New York Times. He brings that unique combination of experience to the Fasano Law Firm to offer his clients the highest quality legal services while also maintaining the flexibility to help clients meet their goals.
Michael began his career working for one of Miami’s premier law firms where he gained a broad range of experience representing a variety of clients. He served as special “escalated” counsel to a Fortune 50 financial institution where he advised on and resolved disputes relating to tens-of-millions of dollars worth of real estate and credit obligations. Michael also represented the directors and officers of major banking institutions in government enforcement actions and class action litigation.
Michael then moved on to work in the Miami office of a major international law firm where he managed trial and appellate court litigation for global companies, foreign governments, and ultra-high net worth individuals. In addition to building his domestic litigation practice, Michael gained experience in the burgeoning area of U.S. foreign legal assistance, where he provided U.S.-based litigation and insolvency solutions to individuals and entities involved in foreign disputes.
Michael founded the Fasano Law Firm in 2016 to bring his unique and broad base of legal knowledge to a greater number of entrepreneurs and businesses throughout South Florida.
Michael received his law degree from the University of Miami School of Law summa cum laude (with highest honors), and served as an editor of the University of Miami Law Review. He received a Bachelor of Arts degree with honors from Washington University in St. Louis.
